The unrated cut of “The Expendables 3” out on DVD/Blu-ray on November 25, 2014

Thanks to IGN, we are happy to inform you that “The Expendables 3” Unrated Edition will be available on Digital HD on November 11, 2014 and on DVD/Blu-ray on November 25, 2014. Find more detailed information below.

The Expendables 3 Blu-ray will hit on November 25 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The film debuts On Demand the same day. The Blu-ray Combo Pack will include the unrated version of the film that features “more action, more explosions, more fights — and a higher body count” than the PG-13 theatrical version.

The Blu-ray Combo Pack will also feature the original theatrical movie, an immersive Dolby Atmos soundtrack experience, and more. Plus, both versions of the film will be available two weeks earlier on Digital HD on November 11. Also available November 25, The Expendables 3 DVD (plus Digital) will include only the original theatrical version of the film.

Even more exciting are the extras included on the Blu-ray Combo Pack: a documentary, two featurettes “that delve deep behind-the-scenes with the incredible cast and crew,” an extended scene, and a gag reel.

  1. The action scenes were so fun but it should have been rated R in the first place.Stallone also shouldn’t have added those young actors to the movie therefore the original expendables had very little screen time except for Stallone and I hope they won’t appear in the forth installment but Jason’s fight was the best part of the movie.

    1. Yes, we agree with you. We enjoyed the film or we wouldn’t have watched it twice, but at the same time, we were disappointed about the little screen time the original cast was given. We didn’t care for the young Expendables either or so much Barney Ross, so if a fourth film should really happen, we hope the original cast will be front and center from beginning to end.
