Today we are honored to feature an incredibly beautiful and inspiring Jason Statham fan art submitted by lovely Lindsay from UK. Just like us, she is a big admirer of his work and loves his films as much as we do, but there is something very special that makes this fan of his stand out. We are sure you will be as touched and impressed by her amazing talent and strong will to live life to its fullest no matter the circumstances as we are.
A few days ago, Vin Diesel visited The Jonathan Ross Show to talk about “Fast and Furious 6” coming to theaters on May 24, 2013. Naturally, the New York native wouldn’t talk about the surprise cameo appearance by Jason Statham at the end of the film but confirmed that there would be indeed a sequel with himself and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returning in it.
“And we can’t really mention the other guy ’cause that’s a surprise” the host teased about Jason Statham’s involvement in the “Fast and Furious” franchise.
“You can’t really mention the other one but they [audience] would LOVE if they knew” Vin Diesel said with a big smile that clearly expressed his enthusiasm about the follow-up film and having Jason Statham on board.
We have just watched the 2001 British comedy “Mean Machine” and urge every Jason Statham fan to check it out. Although he doesn’t have a lot of scenes, the ones he has are beyond hilarious and show his natural comedic side beautifully. Aside from that, we really enjoyed the film as a whole and highly recommend it to all who want to watch an Indie comedy with a lot of heart, humor and a wonderful cast.
Last week, we reported that “Fast and Furious” co-star Michelle Rodriguez had confirmed Jason Statham’s involvement in the seventh installment by expressing her delight about Universal’s decision to cast him.
But the beautiful Latina actress is not the only one who can’t wait to work with Jason Statham. Co-star Paul Walker, who plays FBI agent Brian O’Conner, is also thrilled about the new British addition.
“Jason is going to be a killer addition. He’s super competitive too – I know it – but I think in terms of what he represents, he’s an iconic figure at this point,” he told the press at the world premiere of “Fast and Furious 6” in London, UK.
Paul added, “He’s been around kicking butt, driving cars and doing it well for a long time so when people see him step on screen, he automatically comes with a certain degree of reverence. So to go heads up with him is going to be fun, for sure.”
“Fast and Furious 7” is rumored to start filming in September, so keep your eyes and ears open.
It’s always such a treat to start the week off with something Jason Statham work related, so our thanks goes out to Filmofilia for sharing over fifty(!) new “Redemption” film stills, which allow you to take a closer look at Jason Statham as Joey Jones.
We are so excited about Jason Statham’s new Indie film because he always shines as an actor when he is given decent material to work with. And, “Joey Jones” seems to be one of these well-written characters that guarantees a compelling story line.
