Jason Statham recently updated his Facebook and Instagram with detailed information about the classic Triumph motorbikes used in “The Mechanic” sequel “The Mechanic: Resurrection.” He also shared some brilliant photos of posing with one of them.

“Massive thanks to Nik Ellwood and Dick Shepherd for getting 2 classic Triumph’s over to Bulgaria to use in the sequel to the Mechanic. The white bike is a 1966 Triumph Bonneville T120 TT. It is a twin carb 650cc race bike built only for the US market for dirt track racing. It has a high compression engine and open drag pipe exhausts (original TT spec).
The bikes are owned by Dick Shepherd, a private English collector whose world-famous collection of over 350 Triumph motorcycles includes machines dating back from 1937 through to the present day.”

This bike brought me back to 1972 when I bought a basket case and made it a hill climb bike.

No idea whether he drove one in New Zealand. He did in Bulgaria as the post states where parts of “Mechanic: Resurrection” were filmed.
