The August 2014 issue of the Train magazine features a fantastic interview with Jason Statham in which he talks about his weekly workout regime, what kind of exercises he does to stay fit even if he isn’t working on a new film, and how his competitive side came out when he hit the gym with “The Expendables 3” cast last year.

“For me, looking good and feeling good goes hand in hand. If you lead a healthy lifestyle, your diet and nutrition are on point; and if you’re working out, you’re going to feel good, you know?”
“I run about three times a week, I swim and I go to the gym – which is always basically a core workout.”
“I love acquiring a new skill as well, so I enjoy doing stuff that will improve my boxing and martial arts; something that will add to what I’ve got. I’m always trying to develop explosive power, core strength, reflexes and coordination.”
“Yeah, I love training with a partner. I honestly think it’s a huge benefit because you don’t want to let the other guy down. You kick each other’s asses, support each other and it becomes competitive – the ego gets the better of you.”
