Jason Statham and Chuck Zito talk “Homefront” Sequel at “Buca di Beppo” in Columbus, Ohio

Jason Statham joined his “Homefront” co-star Chuck Zito and friends at the Italian restaurant Buca di Beppo on March 1, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio, after he was honored with the International Sports Hall of Fame Award at the 2014 Arnold Sports Festival.

Chuck Zito celebrated his birthday, and he and friends shared some great snapshots of their evening together.

According to someone at the birthday party, Hollywood producers were also present while Chuck and Jason talked about a “Homefront” sequel (perhaps with them?). Team: In our opinion, a continuation would make a lot of sense since the first installment offered an open end. We would love to see Danny (Chuck Zito) get out of prison and seek revenge on Phil Broker (Jason Statham) for having him put there in the first place.

Jason Statham and Chuck Zito also posed for photos with the Italian restaurant’s signature dish “Spaghetti with Meatballs” the very same evening. Jason’s already featured in the restaurant’s Celebrity Sighting gallery as he visited their other location in Las Vegas, Nevada in June 2013. You can check out more photos from that day here.

And as always, Jason Statham made time for one of his fans and took a lovely photo with Paralympian Ryan Estep at the restaurant.

  1. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts, Stephen. We adore your avatar and couldn’t be happier that you had the opportunity to meet Jason in real life. We imagine this is something very special you won’t ever forget.

    1. Yes, the film had an open end so another installment would make a lot of sense. Let’s hope so because we would love one.

  2. HOMEFRONT is, by far the best work Sly has done. The choice of Statham, was the next best choice. We have seen it 2x in one day, and believe the ending left us knowing that there needs to be a sequel.
    Get to work.

    1. Sounds like you have really enjoyed the film. Jason was fantastic in it and the chemistry was just right between the whole cast. We would love a sequel, and you are right, the ending was an open one.

    1. Indeed it was, Tiffany. And as you already pointed out, it ended on an open end so there could be a possibility for a sequel. Let’s hope so.
