Thanks to Alex DiGiovanna from MovieBuzzers.com for this fantastic written article that only adds to Jason Statham’s badass status. Despite the horror of this scary incident, it’s wonderful to see that there are still writers like him out there who show respect towards the actor by getting the best out of the worst and don’t lose their integrity for the sake of website hits.

Some of you may not know this but the buff bald man by the name of Jason Statham was a diver before he turned into a modern day action God. Yeah, I didn’t see that coming either. I mention this because it was reported by Skandalno, via Twitch, that Statham was taken to a hospital two days ago after he was pulled unconscious from a pond after a stunt he did went wrong on the set of The Expendables 3.

I know, I got slightly concerned too, but then I kept on reading the report. Apparently the stunt involved falling into the pond and a stuntman was all ready to go when Statham, in all of his proud manly glory, insisted he perform the stunt, being a former diver and all. Things didn’t go according to plan though and when he landed in the water he didn’t resurface and had to be dragged out by the support crew standing by.

Now why is this news you ask? Because that bad-ass of a man was brought to the hospital, was checked out and returned back to set to continue his work that same day.

Mr. Statham, if only other actors, athletes and people in general were as awesome and committed to their job as you, we’d be living in a pretty badass world.

You can see Statham and the rest of The Expendables (aside from Bruce Willis) doing what they do best on August 14, 2014.

Jason, we truly respect you for your strong work ethic and we are relieved that you are okay. But don’t you ever scare us like that again!
