New “Furious 7” set photo of Jason Statham; “Furious 8” to focus more on characters

Vin Diesel shared another “Furious 7” set photo of him and Jason Statham via his official Facebook Page.

Statham confirmed back in June that he would be back as Deckard Shaw in “Furious 8” scheduled to be released on April 14, 2017.

In regards to the future of the “Fast and Furious” franchise, three more sequels are in the works and Diesel says in a recent interview with Variety, “We have a director [F. Gary Gray] who is going to bring the darkness out and bring out the character.” He also promises that the eighth installment will be as gritty as his 2003 action-thriller “A Man Apart” which was also directed by Gray.

We surely love the sound of that.
