While we knew our favorite Brit was going to be back in “Fast 8” renamed “The Fate of the Furious,” we had no clue as to how his character Deckard Shaw would resurface since he was imprisoned in “Furious 7.” To see him – if only grudgingly – team up with Toretto’s family, who apparently has turned his back on them, was nothing we ever expected. What a fantastic and surprising twist. We can’t wait to see Jason be part of the crazy bunch and hope he has more scenes than last time.
Congratulations to director F. Gary Gray, cast and crew and everyone else involved. With 139 million views in the first 24 hours, “The Fate of the Furious” broke the worldwide record and made it the largest ever trailer debut.
We are teased with a new set video summing up some of the scenes that have been already filmed. Production on the eighth installment is halfway through, and as you can see in the clip below our favorite Brit is more than ready for battle. You can find the screen capture of him in our gallery.
The actor took to his official Facebook Page and shared an update on working with our favorite Brit along with a fantastic new set photo taken on July 12, 2016 in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
Not only does Jason give a great performance in this next chapter of the Fast saga… He is there by my side to help solve the riddles one is faced with when making the best, biggest film in history.
So proud of Our cast!
April 14th 2017!!! Just wait, you will see…
Our favorite Brit was back in character as he ran down the streets as Deckard Shaw in downtown Atlanta, Georgia on July 12, 2016. He was joined by his co-stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne Johnson who recently shared a photo of his character Hobbs wearing an orange prison jumpsuit like Jason did at the end of “Furious 7.”
