Kelsey Alten (“MEG” author Steve Alten’s daughter) met our favorite Brit in Sanya in December as well.

Jason’s co-star, Jessica McNamee, shared a gorgeous snapshot taken in Auckland, New Zealand in November. We also came across a set photo of director Jon Turteltaub, Li Bingbing and Jason.

Physiotherapist Peter Lee took care of Jason’s physical condition in Auckland, New Zealand and considered it one of his favorite 2016 moments.

One of the highlights of 2016. Get to work on this superstar. Genuinely a down to earth chap! Thanks for the photo op Jason!

Jason Statham returns to Los Angeles

After several months of filming “Meg” in New Zealand, our favorite Brit arrived back home. He was spotted out and about with Sylvester Stallone in Beverly Hills, California on December 7, 2016. This is particularly interesting because this could mean Jason might be joining the “Fast 8” cast on Times Square in New York City on Sunday, December 11, 2016 for the trailer premiere. We will be there for this special live event and will get you exclusive photos in case he makes an appearance.

Micheal Futter took a lovely snapshot with our Jason back in New Zealand (presumably earlier this week) and talked about working with our favorite Brit via his Instagram.

“Just finished working for this guy last three months, such a down to earth, extremely hardworking Pom, had some great laughs.”

Our favorite Brit poses with his co-star Li Bingbing who will play Suyin, a daughter of an esteemed Chinese oceanographer, who teams up with Jason’s character.

Currently filming in New Zealand until December, “Meg” will later move to locations in China. The shark action-thriller will be released during the 2018 Chinese New Year period in China, starting on February 16, 2018. Its worldwide release is scheduled for March 2, 2018.

Directed by Jon Turteltaub (the “National Treasure” films), other cast includes Winston Chao, Masi Oka, New Zealander Cliff Curtis, Rainn Wilson, Ruby Rose, Page Kennedy, Jessica McNamee, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Robert Taylor and Sophia Shuya Cai.
