To clarify, Jason Statham joined Facebook back in October 2012, but there was no official verification of its authenticity until today. Facebook has finally started with verifying public-figure Pages and profiles, which are now marked with a small, blue check mark just like Twitter uses.
Announcement from Facebook:
Today we’re launching verified Pages to help people find the authentic accounts of celebrities and other high-profile people and businesses on Facebook. Verified Pages have a small, blue check mark beside their name on timelines, in search results, and elsewhere on Facebook.
Verified Pages belong to a small group of prominent public figures (celebrities, journalists, government officials, popular brands and businesses) with large audiences. This update is rolling out to profiles as well.
Jason Statham has garnered over four million “Likes” on Facebook already and regularly shares photos of photo shoots and film projects with his large fanbase.
So, we here at JStatham.com can finally throw our last doubts over board and celebrate his online presence with a bottle of champagne. Cheers!
We went to watch “Fast and Furious 6” on Saturday, May 25, 2013, and cheered for our fabulous Brit Jason Statham when he made his explosive entrance on the big screen with the words, “Dominic Toretto. You don’t know me, but you are about to.”
The audience was thrilled about his surprised cameo appearance especially two excited boys right next to us who shouted their approval. And although we enjoyed “Fast and Furious 6,” we wouldn’t have went if it wasn’t for a short but worthwhile glimpse of our favorite actor.

Actor James Franco has shared a behind the scenes photo of Jason Statham and himself via his Instagram. It shows the two actors with fake blood on their faces and was taken on November 29, 2012.
In a recent interview with Collider, Jason Statham shed more light on how he got the role.
“Homefront is a film that Sylvester Stallone wrote for himself actually. So, to have a screenplay presented to me by him that he was intending to star in himself was a career point for me. I said, ‘Wow!’ He’s a great writer and it’s a really, really cool story. It’s based on a book written by Chuck Logan called Homefront. He adapted it to suit me. It was like a tailor-made suit and Sly did all the sewing. Fantastic!” he told the film website.
The Gary Fleder-directed action thriller is about a former DEA agent (Statham) who moves his family to a quiet town, where he soon tangles with a local meth druglord (Franco). Other cast includes Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth, Frank Grillo and Rachelle Lefevre.
According to Winona Ryder, “Homefront” is scheduled for a release date this fall.

In August 2011, Hollywood made its way to St. Charles Parish Hospital in Luling, Louisiana, to film the infamous hospital scene with Jason Statham. Naturally, the hospital staff was more than excited to be in the presence of Hollywood’s Finest and took several souvenir photos, documenting how everything came together before it was shown on the big screen.

Below you can watch a short clip of the hospital scene as seen in the film.
We always love to go behind the scenes of a film production as it allows us to get a better understanding of how much work is involved to film just one scene, and it’s simply fascinating to watch Hollywood make film magic.
